At the invitation of Dorset Energy Solutions Director, Richard Barras, Bob Walter MP cut the ribbon to officially launch this new addition to a growing local business, in the company of local dignitaries and businesses.
The event, which ran from 5pm to 7pm, also celebrated the company’s success over the past 12 months and allowed guests to see working renewable energy solutions in action.
The company specialises in heat pumps, solar photovoltaic and biomass boilers and is working closely with the Government Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.
The new showroom will be open from 9 to 5pm every week day and anyone can drop in to take a look or seek advice on renewable energy solutions for the domestic and commercial sectors.
Together with the showroom, Dorset Energy Solutions’ training and development centre forms the heart of an innovative new training initiative, unique to the industry, that the team hopes will become a sector-wide model in the future.
Bob commented:
“Dorset Energy Solutions is a great example of a local business that has succeeded in spotting a gap in a growing market and providing an all round service for customers, from initial advice to installation and servicing.
“As a supporter of small-scale, microgeneration schemes, it was great to find out more about the services Dorset Energy offers in my constituency, which includes information on a wide range of renewable energy grants and the company’s unique umbrella scheme that trains and supports local tradesman into the Renewable Industry.”
