At the full meeting of Dorset Council on the 5 December 2024, Pauline Batstone was elected as Honorary Alderman. This is in recognition of a life time of public service working for the Probation Service, the first Chair of Dorset Council, District Councillor, County Councillor and now Town Councillor of Sturminster Newton.
An outstanding achievement and well deserved award.
