The Annual General Meeting of the NDCA took place on Saturday 9 April 2022 at Durweston Village Hall. The meeting was chaired by Hilary Cox our President, who welcomed the 43 members present to the first in person AGM since 2019.
Cllr Piers Brown, the outgoing Chair, outlined the progress the Association has made in the last 12 months despite the challenges that the Covid Pandemic presented us with.
The new Officer's Group members were appointed including the new Chair Cllr Sherry Jespersen.
In her address Sherry said "I would like to thank the members for inviting me to be Chair of the Association. I am keen to get on with the job. My thanks to Piers for his work as Chair over the last three years. The priorities for the next two years are self evident. In 2024 we have elections for our MP, our PCC and for 20 Dorset Council seats. This is quite a task, but I am quietly confident that, with hard work, North Dorset can deliver our usual solid Conservative results."
